OTBI Reports on Spring Board

Many times end users might feel it difficult to navigate to Reports and Analytics section and from their to custom folder to check any report output, To avoid all these navigation we can display our custom reports on user's spring board.

Follow below steps to populate OTBI/BI Report on spring board.

Step 1: Login with Fusion Credentials

Step 2: Create a new sandbox (Eg: BI Integration)

     Navigation: Click on Navigator >> Configuration >> Sandbox

Step 3: Select all the check box in tools for the sandbox we created.

Step 4: So now we are in sandbox mode.

                  

                    Navigate to Home >> Navigator >> Configuration >> Page Integration

Step 5: Create a new page as show below

Step 6: Enter the details as below

                         

                                           Name                 : Test Report

                                           Category            : Test Category

                                           Icon                    : Any icon

                                          Application Role : Test Role

                                          web page             : about:blank

Step 7: Click on Save button and create tabs based on requirement. For tabs we can use same above application role and web page

Step 8: Navigate to Home >> Navigator >> Configuration >> Structure >> Search with Test Report

From here we can move our page into some other groups like Me, My Team, My Client Groups etc

Step 9 : Publish the sandbox and login with the user who is associated with Test Role.

That's it we can see our page and by using page composer we can call our custom BI/OTBI reports in this new page.
