Attachment vs Certificate
Most of the we get confused between attachment and absence certificate, which one should be used in which scenario. Below is the comparison between two.
Attachments
Normally we can choose attachment option for Illness absence like Sick Leaves. Attachments will act as a supporting documents like medical certificates.
We can make these attachment field as mandatory from absence type as per our requirement. Line Manager/HR will verify the documents which are attach and take action accordingly.
Certificates
By using certificates also we can upload our related medical documents. We need to attach certificates to Absence type.
Purpose - If employee wants to apply leave today and later after N days he can upload documents, if suppose employee not able to provide documents then HR can revoke payment.so that employee will not be paid for the absence period.
